Everyone is an advocate! You advocate for yourself every day at work, school, and in your relationships. Advocating for the creative sector is just as essential and can be simple when you understand the basic steps to it.

This training was organized in early 2025 to equip artists with the foundational skills needed to advocate for the issues and communities that matter the most. In this training, MASSCreative staff reviewed how decisions that are made at the local, state, and federal levels directly impact the creative community and how to build community power with elected decision-makers.
