Artists, creatives, and cultural sector leaders in Massachusetts organize an annual, statewide Creative Sector Advocacy Week to celebrate the vibrancy of our cultural economy and take action to ensure that it remains strong.
Creative Sector Advocacy Week events happen in communities throughout Massachusetts and include a day of performance and visibility at the State House. We provide you with actions that you can take from home, as well as opportunities to convene with creative sector advocates who are organizing throughout the Commonwealth.

Help bring Creative Sector Advocacy Week to your community by hosting local events and activations.
Past organizers have held postcard writing campaigns before theater performances, livestreams with local leaders, invited elected officials to their cultural spaces, and led community trainings.
Now is a great time to start brainstorming your Advocacy Week event! We will share more resources about hosting events once the 2027 dates are announced.
